The Lands of Ice and Fire , a companion volume to A Song of Ice and Fire comprising a dozen large poster maps, is now available in the USA. Its official UK release date is 8 November, but don't be surprised to see some early copies slipping onto shelves before that date. Qarth and the Jade Gates, featuring the hitherto-unmentioned island of Great Moraq. The forested region just to the east is the kingdom of Yi Ti. The map collection features the first canon-for-the-books maps of eastern Essos, including the Jade Sea region. These maps introduce a whole host of new locations to the world of Westeros and Essos, some of which may be referenced in future books.

Em uma realidade alternativa, George Washington se torna um rei tirano que governa os Estados Unidos com punho de ferro. Agora, a Ubisoft afirmou o que todos já imaginavam: o conteúdo extra não faz parte do “canon” da franquia. BY ÔMEGA Os fãs não precisarão esperar muito pelas respostas. De acordo com o designer chefe de Assassin’s Creed III, Steve Masters, o novo game fechará definitivamente a saga de Desmond e o arco de histórias protagonizado por ele. Ele afirma que a trama dará um grande salto no novo episódio, de forma a passar uma real sensação de progressão para o jogador. Isso se traduz em um enredo muito mais direto e substancioso, com as respostas que os jogadores tanto estavam esperando. Masters conta que Assassin’s Creed III terá sua própria cota de pequenos mistérios, mas tudo será resolvido ao final do título. O final da saga de Desmond chega ao mercado em 30 de outubro de 2012. Universal Pictures, Paradox Entertainment and Arnold Schwarznegger have done a deal which opens the way for a new Conan the Barbarian movie starring the ex-Governator. The new movie will ignore both the recent Jason Momoa film and the 1984 Conan the Destroyer (starring Schwarznegger) and will instead work as a successor to the original 1982 Conan the Barbarian , the movie which began Schwarznegger's ascent to superstardom. The new film will depict Conan in the closing stages of his life, as an old king and warlord ready for one last glorious adventure before the end. This story idea tracks with Robert E. Howard's original stories, which depict Conan in his old age as King of Aquilonia. The producers of the project cite Unforgiven as their inspiration for the tone and direction of the picture, which they hope will be darker and more philosophical like the original movie. It remains to be seen if the picture will be formally greenlit.

 Minecraft ganhará um mapa de Far Cry ,junto com um pacote de gráficos.Isso é uma ação de marketing Ubisoft para promover o lançamento do game.Estará disponível para download á partir do dia  26 de outubro no site oficial do título. O mapa trará uma ambientação inspirada pela ilha de FarCry 3, contando com novas armas e ferramentas exclusivas. Personagens do jogo, como Vaas, Jason e Citra também serão reproduzidos em formato de Minecraft. Além disso, haverá por volta de 50 surpresas escondidas pela fase. A Ubisoft liberou alguma fotos mostrando a mescla entre FarCry 3 e Minecraft, mas provavelmente são apenas imagens ilustrativas e não representam o resultado final do projeto. FarCry 3 sairá para o Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 e PC em 4 de dezembro.

The Lands of Ice and Fire - a collection of poster maps depicting the world of A Song of Ice and Fire - will be published next week. io9 have released some more sneak peeks of the collection, including our first-ever canon glimpse of Asshai and the Shadow Lands: Readers of the books know that Asshai is a highly mysterious city located in the far south-eastern corner of the explored world, on the eastern shores of the Jade Sea, five thousand or more miles from Westeros. Beyond Asshai lies the even more enigmatic 'Shadow Lands', the home of mysterious people who always go masked in public (such as Daenerys's sometimes-ally Quaithe). Asshai was first mentioned in A Game of Thrones (published in 1996), but this is the first time it's been officially depicted visually in any form.

Mas, de acordo com o produtor Fabrice Condominas, uma coisa já é certa: a empresa não quer criar um novo Comandante Shepard, nem trazer o personagem de volta. Segundo ele, o universo da franquia é vasto o bastante para iniciar uma nova saga sem similaridades com a que acaba de chegar ao fim. Ele conta que a equipe de produção se encontra atualmente em uma fase criativa, na qual todos os membros podem dar ideias e avaliam quais são viáveis. O objetivo é aplicar um conceito bem diferente do que já existe na franquia, mas isso também vai depender da expectativa de lançamento do título e o estado do mercado no futuro. The game is heavily influenced and inspired by their own classic games (when they were working as Black Isle), such as Planescape: Torment , Icewind Dale and the early Fallout games, as well as those of their associated companies, such as BioWare's Baldur's Gate titles.
